Visiting South Africa is itself quite an unforgettable experience. From the penguins of Boulders Beach, the sights from the top of Table Mountain to swimming with sharks in Gansbaai, there’s always something to do and see. Amongst the worthwhile experiences to be had, my recommendation is watching the sun rise from atop Lion’s Head.

Keep in mind that it takes approximatively 90 to 120 minutes to climb Lion’s Head so be ready to wake up quite early. The climb itself is relatively easy and there’s no need to be an experienced climber. Your reward will be an incredible view of the sun waking up on Cape Town.
