Twenty twenty has has not been a particularly good year for the world in general. Due to COVID-19, most Canadians have not been doing much traveling since March. Since we cannot really leave the country, most of us have used this forced opportunity to do some local exploring. For me, this took form as a short weekend trip to our province’s capital city: Quebec City.

It always feels good to visit the capital. I’m especially fond of the sceneries offered by the Basse-Ville (lower city). This was a beautiful way of celebrating my birthday.
