For my week in Lisbon, I opted to stay right in the middle of things. I booked all my nights at My Story Hotel Augusta and it was fantastic. As expected from a lot of places in Europe, the room was tiny but had everything I needed. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and well equipped, the staff was fabulous and most importantly, the location could not have been any better.

Right besides and in front of the hotel you will find numerous restaurants, bakeries and shops so there’s no worry when it comes to food. It is within walking distance of the metro and a few steps away from the Commerce Place.

The Santa Justa elevator is also located just a few minutes away and you can also easily get to the Alfama District from here.

Keep in mind that due to the proximity of restaurants and shops, this is not the hotel you want to book if you desire absolute tranquility and monastery-like quietness.
