Kathmandu – part 2
My first full day in Kathmandu. I have bronchitis and I feel like I want to die. Well, I’m here so let’s explore! My first thought: this place is out of this world chaotic and I love it. Just look at those mind boggling mess of electric wires! How is this even possible?

Kathmandu Durbar Square
A Durbar Square is a Royal Square. It’s basically the area surrounding the old Royal Palace. There are three such squares in the Kathmandu Valley. The first one pictured here is located in Kathmandu. The second one is in Bhaktapur and the last one in Patan. They are all three part of the UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Candle light market
Wandering around the Asan Tole area in Kathmandu, I came across this lady selling her goods by candle light. This is one of my favorite photo form my trip to Nepal. To this day, I’m still amazed at the fact that this came from a cell phone (Galaxy S8).
