Travel has barely picked up again following the great Covid travel blackout but Rome is still as busy as I remember it. The streets are crowded with international visitors as usual. It feels nice to be exploring the Roman city once more.

Rome – part 1
The last time I was in Rome was a decade ago. It was also during summer and I had sworn never to come back again during this period. Here I am again, in the middle of the Roman capital, sweating it out in the early morning hours. Luckily, the beauty of Rome is worthwhile.

Sant’Angelo
It’s a scorching hot day in Rome. Stephanie and I arrived just a few hours ago but after a quick stop at the hotel, we’re already making our way through the city streets. Destination unknown.. Following the gernal direction fo the Vatican, we eventually end up at Castel Sant’Agnelo, also known as Hadrian’s Tomb.

WTF Italy ?
Three minutes away from our hotel in Rome and we stumble upon the beautiful WTF moment, I literally had to do a double take for this one. I didn’t think something like this would be possible 2022. I guess I was wrong.
